Named after the family’s Chaseholm Farm, this cheese is a classic, old world style Camembert (bloomy rind cheese), also made from whole milk, with a bit of rich cream added to underscore its buttery aspect. Camembert is similar to the more familiar Brie. Ripened, then aged to provide a soft creamy pate that bends at room temperature. An exceptionally creamy cheese with dynamic flavors of Normandy, but produced right here in the Hudson Valley. Best paired with jammy preserves.
This cheese comes in ~1/3 lb wheels and is hand-wrapped in a breathable cheese wrapping paper with a 6-8 week shelf life.
